Policy 2: Eradicate Corruption
I read an article today by the outgoing CVC ( Chief Vigilance Commissioner), who says 30% of Indians are totally corrupt and 50% are borderline...
Corruption exists mainly in the government organisations and institutions and public exploit the situation to do things faster... As someone rightly said, Corruption exists in all countries only in other countries, people get money for not doing their work whereas in india its just for doing their own work....
Here is my solution, you might see the resemblance in many movies or you might have heard people talking about it.
There is only two ways as far as i know by which Corruption could be cured, yes cured because its a disease...
1. Change in the Individual 2. Fear
Bringing in change in every individual is very next to impossible task but the same could be brought through habit.
How to make them habitual of not taking a bribe, Thats through fear..
The Main reason i see why corruption has spread like venom is because nobody get punished for getting a bribe, even if caught red handed... punishment should be severe so that people should think about the punishment every time they think of getting the bribe...
My Government will create a legislation which will bring into effect a law for corruption, if anybody is caught getting bribe, they will face the following...
1. Dismissal from the job.
2. Education Qualifications being nullified, so that they cannot join any other company..
3. Imprisonment for 5 years with unbailable warrant ( similar to poto)
The Job will be given to the next eligible qualified person registered in the employment exchange.
Policy 3: Education, Infrastructure, Sports, Job Creation, Research
Money Saved in the above two policies will spent in Education, Sports, Research in every field and the Infrastructure for the same and Job Creation.
The Government Expenditure and Revenue will be publicly announced to every citizen via media..
I know that it tough to implement all these and there will thousands of obstacle and existing law and constitution rules that will block the policies being implemented. But i will try and do it...
Also I knew i didn't cover every area, but these are the first three things i do.. if i become CM.
Vision:
* A Free State with No discrimination in terms of Caste from the Government.
* Rich pays the taxes and Poor get the Help so that they become rich.
* Equality in gender, caste, religion.
* Corruption less government organisations and institutions.
* Right to Education and 100% Education for all Children at free of cost.
* A Strong base for Sports, Education, Research, Business etc... so that kids choose what they want to do...
* Importantly All basic necessities ( Food, Shelter, Dress, Education) are available to everyone.
good one santosh
ReplyDeleteBF and AF which you mentioned is good enough , but when it comes for a comparison , say, AF person is scoring high enough and its truly eligible for that position(watever be it) , in that case i feel he/she should be given the priority and BF person should be helped in someother means. Its more like saying "Hardwork Pays".
Also , y dont u think about "Healthy Living in India"
Implementation of the bifurcation according to the economy and Action against corruption. Only these 2 actions is enough to clean up the country to almost 95%.
ReplyDeleteThe current situation in India shows that everyday a new party is registering in the name of religion or caste.
People around are exclaiming that the country will be a super power in a decades time. If you want a honest answer it would be NO.
Do people have the manners in the simplest things of life? In this aspect both the literate and the illeterate are in the same boat.
Even for a counsellors visit the traffics are blocked for hours together.Who are the suffers? Who gave them this power. If you say that the power is being given by the people then why can't the people question them. Why they have the fear in pointing out the mistakes.
My Dear Indian... Wake up or otherwise your eyes will be closed permanently.
ENGAE SELLUM INTHA PAATHAI...
YAARO YAARO ARIVAAR!!!
This is applicable to me also....
@Jan: if you had read the last part, reservation is only in education for the BF reason being simple the don't have full access resources like the kids in the AF...
ReplyDeleteThe percentage will be reasonable and also once we implement those two policies the vision free education reaches every kid in the nuk and corner... Then this also should be revisited....
Hard work should definitely be paid off... Meritorious get the top seat..
But big NO to reservation in jobs....
Good One Santhosh!
ReplyDeleteBut, before implementing your BF/AF, it's mandatory to eradicate corruption. Otherwise, as you said how easier to get any caste certficate with 1000INR, it's also easier for AF people to get BF quota with money.
My Thoughts: As one man army, as chief minister, we can't do any good things without the support of 234 MLAs. So, before starting to implement any policy, we do need to set up a good RajyaSabha members constitution (telling only for TN).
