Write an essay on the topic "If I become the Chief Minister of the State"?

Dosen't it sound familiar, Everyone of us would have written this essay atleast once in our school days, even i wrote many such essay without really understanding the problems in running the government and issues in the society.....

But still the ideas generated by the uncorrupted mind of the child is what is the need of the hour, without talking much about the childhood story, let me try to write the same essay now.....

If I become the Chief Minister of the state....

Policy 1: Eradicate Caste and Caste based reservations.

Caste system is in existence is primarily because of the pride associated with it and the need for us mention it in every form that we fill for education to work to whatever... and the second big reason is to get the benefits of reservations based on caste

50 years it made sense to have reservation system based on the caste... as people belonging to the backward, most backward, scheduled caste and tribes were traditionally poor... Even Mr. B.R Ambedkar suggested it should be revisited in another 30 years or so....

Given that you can get caste certificate if you spend INR 1000 now, it doesn't really make sense anymore to have a caste based reservation system....

Here is my plan...

There will be only two groups of people Above the Fold (AF) and Below the Fold (BF)

What is the Fold that i am talking here? 

Fold is the money that is needed to run a family with ease with three meal a day, education for all kids.

Its tough to calculate that, just for the sake of convenience, i will mark it as the Amount equal to Max Individual Salary until which there is no Income Tax.

Once the Unique Id system is in place, it will be easier to identify who is below the fold and who is above the fold.

Below the Fold gets reservation in education alone and also will get scholarships... There will zero reservation in jobs and in any other field.

Percentage of reservation will be decided based on the ratio between the two folds.

Here are the strict No's

* No Reservations based on the caste.

* No Reservations based on Religion.

* No Reservations based on Gender ( Male/Female/Transgender let them compete equally)
