April 7 is when i was born, yes the same date as that of William Wordsworth's... hope you remember the daffodils poem that we studied in school.... except the date we have nothing in common.... :P
I was just thinking after my midnight birthday celebrations, Is birthday a real happy day.... after serious thinking i got something to write in my blog.....
It is a volatile variable and whose value changes based on the difference between you first and current bday...
Mathematically HQ = Current Date - Orginal Date of Birth.
Higher the happiness when the value of HQ ( Happiness Quotient) is close to Zero... and vice versa....
When i was less than ten years old, birth day is all about wearing new dress to school and cutting cake and giving sweets to my friends...
When i was between 10 and 17, it was all a day in which i could ask my parents what i want a Wish-list day...
17 to 23, it was a day where i can touch girls ( I meant shake hands with them.. :P), i was thinking then cant it be every day....
For the past three years its been a culture of Bday bumps and thrashing the bday boy with eggs and kitchen waste.... I have so many people waiting for my bday with grudge...( on the lighter side)...
My HQ has throughly been a curve up in the rise sometime swinging in the middle....
Now its more of the thinking I am getting old.... although i know i am happy coz i am kid still.... Tummy shows man you growing old.....
Birthday has been a mixed experience... you get to see people caring about you and remembering your bday ( although there are lots of tools for that now... thanks to the social websites)... even with all these tools Its Feel Good thing when friends from all part of the world take a minute time and wish you.....
One other interesting fact is that i know at least six or seven of friends and colleagues who were born on the same day and some even same year.. Not to forgot William Wordsworth.
Once again.. Thanks All for you wishes..... Send me an email if you need my Wish-list :P
